CheckVersions(AvroSchema, IReadOnlyList<AvroSchema>, AvroCompatibilityLevel, AvroCompatibilityOptions?)

Checks a new version of a schema against earlier ones at a schema registry's level: backward levels check that schema reads the earlier versions' data, forward levels that the earlier versions read its data, and transitive levels check every earlier version rather than the latest.

Parameters

schema AvroSchema

The new schema.

previousVersions IReadOnlyList<AvroSchema>

The earlier versions, oldest first.

level AvroCompatibilityLevel

The compatibility level.

options AvroCompatibilityOptions

The options for each pair, or null for Default.

Returns

AvroCompatibilityReport

Each pair checked and the worst verdict.
