Properties

AutoRegisterSchemas

Gets or sets whether the serializer registers a schema the registry doesn't have (schemaAutoRegistrationEnabled): a new version of an existing schema, or a new schema. The default is false, as in AWS's serializer: the schema version must already exist.

Compatibility

Gets or sets the compatibility mode of a schema the serializer creates (compatibility). The default is BACKWARD, as in AWS's serializer.

Compression

Gets or sets whether the Avro data is compressed (compression). The default is None.

Description

Gets or sets the description of a schema the serializer creates (description).

Metadata

Gets or sets metadata to put on each schema version the serializer registers (metadata). As in AWS's serializer, a registered version also gets x-amz-meta-transport: the Kafka topic or Kinesis stream it was registered for.

PendingVersionInterval

Gets or sets how long to wait between checks of a new schema version that is still pending, while the registry checks its compatibility. The default is 3 seconds, as in AWS's serializer, which checks 10 times.

RegistryName

Gets or sets the registry the schemas are in (registry.name). The default is default-registry, as in AWS's serializer.

SchemaName

Gets or sets the name of the schema every value is registered under (schemaName). When it is null, the default, SchemaNameStrategy names it.

SchemaNameStrategy

Gets or sets how a schema is named when SchemaName isn't set (schemaNameGenerationClass): from the transport name (the Kafka topic, or the Kinesis stream), the value's schema, and whether it's a message key. When it is null, the default, the schema is named after the transport, as AWS's default strategy does.

Tags

Gets or sets the tags of a schema the serializer creates (tags).
